I read your earlier posts from March 14 & 21 and April 10, and it sounds like you had the same issue in your prior townhouse with mice in your sofas and bed, bought new sofas and bed when you moved, and again have mice in your sofa & bed, and you hear and feel mice when you sit or sleep and see mouse droppings around the furniture, and wake up with scratches on you. Last month a pest control company put out traps, but still earlier this month you were having trouble sleeping because the blankets felt itchy and it felt like mice were crawling on you, and still were finding red marks on yourself. A second pest control company put out more traps, but still no mice have been caught.
Something is definitely going on and I hope you can figure out what it is, so that you can live comfortably at home, here or in a different apartment. I think it might be helpful to consider the possibility that there might not be any mice living in your apartment.
It surprises me that none have been caught in a month of having traps out from two different pest control companies. I live in a rural area and it would be very unusual for a mouse to be felt moving around inside the furniture, or to bite or scratch someone while they sleep, or for a mouse to crawl across a person. Mostly they are heard scratching around from a distance and go quiet when approached, nibble food in the kitchen and leave droppings there, and are readily caught in traps.
I wonder if it could be helpful to have a follow-up with the pest control companies, and get their opinion on whether you definitely do or do not have mice, or at least to get their take on how unusual it would be to have many mice around but none caught in a trap. If they think you have mice, then I hope they can do more to help you. If they think you do not have mice, I hope that can offer some reassurance and solace.
