Back again with another one.After 2 F80 M3s, a 992 C2S, and more recently, a G80 M3 CS, this G87 M2 felt like the right next chapter – smaller, meaner, and more raw.
Its that rare mix of modern performance and old-school BMW feel thats getting harder to find.
Seeing the M2 in person for the first time, it immediately caught my eye. The proportions are wild! It’s wide and short in a way that looks both cartoonish and muscular.
It has that bulldog stance right out of the box. The wide track, flared fenders, strong haunches, and short overhangs make it look ready to pounce even when parked. That first impression stuck.
Then I saw this in Voodoo Blue AND with a 6-speed. That sealed the deal.
Like my previous builds, the approach remains the same: clean and OEM+. Im not into over-the-top mods. Just refinement.
⚙️ Current Setup
Performance & Suspension:
- AST Adjustable Springs (carried over from M3 CS)
- Eventuri Intakes + strut brace + engine cover in matte CF
- Indiv cooling shroud cover in matte CF
- Stock tune for now; break-in miles first
- Eyeing CS tune down the road
- Considering AA EL Gen2 midpipe + GESI catted downpipes
Wheels & Tires:
- 19″/20″ OEM staggered setup for now with 15/18mm spacers
- Likely running 20s all round soon
Exterior:
- Voodoo Blue paint (Individual)
- Full PPF + ceramic
- Turner CF front lip
- Painted front reflectors; Acexxon horizontal rear inserts
- Carbonex magnetic rear license plate mount
- Side Skirts + Rear diffuser soon (undecided)
Interior:
- Black Merino w/ blue contrast stitching
- 45% Suntek tint all around
- Rogue Engineering short throw clutch pedal arm
- Redline 360 BlendMount + MirrorTap
- Considering: steering wheel / shift knob / short shift kit
