Lamon Jewelers has been a family owned business for over 38 years. Started by Howard and Ann Lamon, their first store in the Knoxville area was in a small strip center on Alcoa Hwy in the early 1980’s. Back then it was called Solid Gold Jewelers. Ann and Howard opened a second store at the current Knoxville location two years later. Eventually all operations were moved to the Knoxville location in the late 1980’s and the name was changed to Lamon Jewelers. Adrienne Lamon, their oldest daughter joined the business in the mid 1990’s and Emily Lamon Justice, their youngest daughter joined the business in the late 1990’s. In 2006 they expanded and renovated their Knoxville store into a log cabin themed building, emphasizing their down to earth, honest and fair driven customer experience they had become known for in Knoxville. In 2018 Howard and Ann’s son Andy joined the business. Later that year Lamon expanded to the Blount County community, opening a store in Maryville in the former Bristol and Bragg Jewelers location. In 2021 they opened their third store in Gatlinburg with a craftsman’s style space. As a second generation family owned business, Lamon Jewelers is grateful to their customers and community for allowing them to celebrate the milestones in their lives with fine jewelry.
