The Zeekr 7GT has been spotted in right-hand drive in Australia ahead of first customer deliveries in early 2027, with local pricing yet to be announced.
The electric sports wagon was previously shown in left-hand drive at the Everything Electric show in Sydney in September 2026, with this the first sighting of a right-hand-drive version in Australia.
The images posted by the Zeekr 7GT Australia Facebook group show a right-hook 7GT in Newcastle, New South Wales, apparently in Performance AWD (all-wheel drive) specification, the highest of the three confirmed by Zeekr Australia.
This is indicated by the larger 20-inch forged alloy wheels and orange brake calipers fitted as standard to the flagship 7GT.

The 7GT will be the fourth Zeekr model in Australia, joining the small X and mid-size 7X electric SUVs and the 009 electric people mover in local showrooms.
While a distinctive offering as an electric sports wagon, the 7GT could be seen as an alternative to the Tesla Model 3 sedan.
The new model from Geely-owned Zeekr is one of a number of electric sports wagons confirmed for a 2027 launch in Australia, alongside the Z9 GT from BYD’s premium Denza brand; the upcoming ES GT from Chery’s Exlantix brand may also be launched here with an electric powertrain.
The 7GT may also compete with the BMW i5 Touring and Porsche Taycan Cross Turismo, although with base prices north of $200,000, these are well above the Zeekr’s expected positioning.
While 7GT pricing hasn’t been announced, Zeekr Australia has positioned its current models competitively with Tesla, with its best-selling Zeekr 7X SUV starting at $57,900 before on-road costs, $1000 less than the cheapest Tesla Model Y SUV.
The Model 3 starts at $45,900 before on-road costs, with the top-spec Model 3 Performance priced at $80,900 plus on-roads.

With customer deliveries scheduled for the first quarter of 2027, the vehicle could be an evaluation car. No official 7GT sales were recorded in October’s sales data, published yesterday.
The five-seat 7GT measures 4817mm long, 1910mm wide and 1456mm high on a 2900mm wheelbase, with 456 litres of boot space, expanding to 1390L with the rear seatbacks folded.
Zeekr Australia has confirmed the range will start with a rear-wheel-drive (RWD), single-motor version delivering 335kW/520Nm for a claimed 0–100km/h time of 5.2 seconds, riding on 19-inch wheels.

It’ll use a 75kWh lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery with a claimed WLTP range of 525km.
The 7GT Long Range RWD has the same single-motor powertrain, with unchanged outputs, but runs a larger 100kWh nickel manganese cobalt (NMC) battery to shave 0.2 seconds off the claimed 0–100km/h time while extending range to 670km.
Zeekr has confirmed the top-spec 7GT Performance AWD will run dual electric motors making 500kW/790Nm for a claimed 0–100km/h time of 3.1 seconds, with the larger 100kWh NMC battery enabling up to 590km of range.
All models use 800V architecture, with the 7GT RWD capable of a claimed 10–80 per cent DC fast-charge in 11 minutes. The Long Range RWD and Performance AWD will offer peak DC charging power of 420kW, with a claimed 10–80 per cent top-up taking 15 minutes.

As well as the larger wheels, the Performance AWD will come with Active Air Suspension and continuously variable dampers.
The interior includes a 15.4-inch central infotainment touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, a pair of wireless phone chargers and a 13-inch digital instrument cluster.
Zeekr Australia hasn’t confirmed the seat upholstery, although Nappa leather is offered in overseas markets.
The vehicle in the images features a two-tone interior with perforated seat upholstery, although the material can’t be confirmed from the photographs.

Zeekr has confirmed heated, ventilated and massaging front seats with 14-way power adjustment, although a full breakdown of equipment by variant is yet to be announced.
The 7GT also has a five-star Euro NCAP safety rating, with its driver-assist technology including adaptive cruise control, blind-spot monitoring, lane-keep assist, traffic sign recognition and Surround Reality View, claimed to highlight “surrounding vehicles, pedestrians, cyclists and road markings across the head-up display and central screen”.
