Lucid Gravity

The Gravity is the automaker’s first SUV. It’s a midsize-class, three-row model that would compete with the likes of the Cadillac Vistiq and Volvo EX90. While Lucid’s first vehicle, the Air sedan, boasts up to 512 miles of range, the Gravity’s extra size and heft means its numbers aren’t as impressive. The EPA rates it at a maximum of 337 miles. That said, it includes built-in support for charging via the Tesla Supercharger network.
Lucid Air
The Air sees a few updates in 2026. Models equipped with the available “DreamDrive Pro” system now includes more semi-autonomous driving features, including Hands-free DriveAssist and Hands-free Lane Change Assist. An extra-cost adapter gives all Air models the opportunity to juice up via a Tesla Supercharger.
Certified Pre-Owned: Recharged
Lucid is hoping to expand its brand’s appeal to more cost-conscious luxury shoppers with its Recharged Certified Pre-Owned vehicle program. To qualify, a single-owner used Lucid vehicle must have less than 62,000 miles and pass a 160-point inspection. Buyers can also add features such as the aforementioned DreamDrive Pro system. All certified vehicles carry the balance of their original 4-year/50,000-mile warranty, if applicable, plus an extra 12 months/12,000 miles of coverage with roadside assistance.
CG Says:
Lucid’s presence in Chicago highlights how it is expanding its offerings in terms of new and used vehicles, as well as charging convenience with the capability of using Tesla’s stations. The Gravity provides a much-needed SUV, and its specs suggest it will be competitive right out of the gate. The Air continues to stand out for its long-range capability, and the Recharged CPO program should help broaden the brand’s appeal by lowering the cost of entry.
