On Love Is Blind, couples get engaged without ever seeing each other’s faces. After saying “yes” to one another, they head out on a romantic vacation before moving into a shared apartment in their city of residence. When they return home, in addition to meeting each other’s friends and families, they have to plan their wedding—in just a few weeks. However, unlike most engaged couples, there’s one key element that’s already pre-determined for these pairs: their venue. The production company behind the hit Netflix show, Kinetic Content, scouts and selects a property for all of the couples to host their ceremonies at each season.
The couples may not get a choice in where they tie the knot, but they don’t have to worry about footing the bill for their celebration, which most couples in the thick of wedding planning would agree might be worth the trade off. Chris Coelen, the show’s creator, confirmed that the production company pays for the entirety of the weddings in an interview with Newsweek. That doesn’t mean that the sky’s the limit, though. “If there’s anything over and above what we would normally do then [the couples] are most certainly welcome to do that,” he told the outlet. He added that the couples do get some say when it comes to the décor, flowers, food, and music.
Here, we break down everything to know about the Love Is Blind wedding venues over the past eight seasons—from how much they cost to how many guests they can accommodate. Read on for more.
Season 1: Atlanta
In the first season of the Netflix show, which was filmed in 2018, the weddings were held at two locations in Atlanta: The Estate and Flourish. Legendary Events, a Georgia-based event-planning company, owns and operates both of these venues. Four of the five couples hosted their nuptials at The Estate, while just one couple—Jessica and Mark—held theirs at Flourish. (This was the only season in which the production team used two different venues.)
According to a price guide posted on The Estate’s website, the cost of hosting a Saturday evening wedding at the property during the summer or fall is $55,000. A celebration scheduled for the same day during the winter or summer will cost a little less, coming in at $45,000. An almost-identical fact sheet published by Flourish lists the same prices. However, the latter can accommodate a higher number of guests. Both venues offer rentals, spaces to get ready, a green room for a band, and complimentary valet parking.
Season 2: Chicago
Rather than hosting their ceremonies in the Windy City, the couples in season two of Love Is Blind held their nuptials outside of the downtown area at Ravisloe Country Club in Homewood, Illinois. In an interview with Chicago Style Weddings, Johanna Morawski, the venue’s director of marketing and events, said that the celebrations looked similar to any wedding that’s hosted at the property, nothing that their in-house chef prepared all of the food. “Ravisloe provided Love Is Blind with what we do for all of our weddings that we host here: tables, chairs, linen, chargers, dinner/glassware, bartenders, servers and coordinators,” she told the outlet.
Even though all of the couples held their ceremonies at the same location, some opted to host theirs outdoors while others celebrated inside. Interested in hosting your own big day at this property? Expect to pay at least $2,000 in venue fees for a Saturday celebration. The club also requires you to purchase a food and beverage package. The property provides centerpieces, table numbers, rentals, linens, spaces to get ready, an in-house event manager, and a complimentary tasting with the purchase of their wedding package.
Season 3: Dallas
Couples in the third season of the reality dating show headed an hour outside of Dallas to the Lone Star Mansion in Burleson, Texas, for their wedding ceremonies. In 2023, the cost of the venue’s “Lone Star Package,” which includes exclusive use of the property, a venue manager, a dressing room, event set-up, and rentals was just under $7,000 for a Saturday evening celebration. In Love Is Blind, cast members held their ceremonies in the venue’s ballroom, which can accommodate up to 300 guests.
While five couples headed to the altar in this season of the show, only two duos said “I do.” Under a chuppah decorated with white flowers and surrounded by candles, Alexa and Brennon tied the knot; Matt and Colleen also said “yes” to each other in the same spot, surrounded by white roses and tons of greenery.
Season 4: Seattle
In the fourth season of the show, the production company decided to host more rustic-inspired nuptials for the Seattle couples, holding their ceremonies at North Fork Farms in Snoqualmie, Washington. The weddings, which were filmed in April 2022, occurred during the “rainiest week ever,” according to Cheyenne Littlejohn-Fay, the location’s venue director.
Littlejohn-Fay provided more insight into the planning of the nuptials in an interview with King 5, a local television station. “The one cool thing is that they went with all of our preferred vendors,” she said. “All of the vendors were local and from the community. Definitely, at least five of our vendors helped with the weddings.” All of the ceremonies were held inside of a tent—and included no more than 50 guests. For a Saturday wedding in peak season, the venue typically charges between $11,000 and $13,000.
Season 5: Houston
Returning to Texas for the fifth season of the shows, these Houston-based couples hosted their nuptials at the Pattison House in Pattison, Texas. The venue, which is located 45 minutes outside of the metropolitan center, offers multiple ceremony spaces, including a centuries-old chapel and a gazebo overlooking a pond. However, in the show, some of these areas served a different purpose. “While we had to use some rooms in atypical ways to accommodate a film crew, we were thrilled to see our space was flexible and accommodating to their needs,” Trena Anderson, the owner of the property, told People. “For example, Love Is Blind used our actual chapel as the media room where the producers, film crew, sound guys, etc. had all their equipment and monitored filming.”
The package offered by the venue includes spaces to get ready, rentals, linens, set-up, and a vintage Rolls Royce for the send-off. For couples who stress about finding the right vendor, this venue, which is all-inclusive, may be the perfect fit. “When couples decide to get married at the Pattison House, they not only get a venue, but they no longer need to worry about finding and coordinating vendors for catering, wedding cakes, flowers, etc.,” Anderson told People. In terms of cost, a fact sheet for the venue says a wedding of 90 to 120 guests will cost $25,000.
Season 6: Charlotte
Couples headed to Cedar Creek Ranch in Waxhaw, North Carolina, for their wedding dates on the sixth season of Love Is Blind. Located 45 minutes outside of downtown Charlotte, this venue includes a renovated bran, a two-level outdoor deck, a pergola, and an outdoor fireplace. According to Axios, the cost of a Saturday wedding during peak season is $6,500. During the off-season, which includes July and August, it drops to $6,000. Purchasing a package with the venue includes tables, chairs, and linens. And while they allow you to bring in your own vendors, they also provide a list of recommended options. The venue can accommodate up to 200 guests.
In the show, just two couples made it to their wedding day: Johnny and Amy, as well as Clay and AD. Both Amy and AD got ready in property’s bridal suite, which included a bar, kitchen, two bedrooms, and the outdoor deck. However, while Johnny and Amy both said “yes” to each other, choosing to marry, Clay said “no” to AD, telling her that he wasn’t ready to make such a decision.
Season 7: Washington, D.C.
Just like in the sixth season of the show, only two couples make it to the altar in the seventh season. Hosting their nuptials at Great Marsh Estate, a venue located outside of the city in Bealeton, Virginia, both couples (Taylor and Garrett; Ashley and Tyler) opted to hold their ceremonies outside. The mansion, which was constructed during the 1980s, is a replica of a Georgian Manor House. While it was initially used as a private residence, it became a wedding venue in 2018. In addition to the original house, the property also includes a reception hall, complete with rustic wooden beams, and a picturesque pond.
In terms of price, it’s unclear what the exact cost you can expect to pay for this venue is. On Reddit, one user wrote that the cost for their 120-person wedding at the venue was $60,000. However, they added that most of this went toward the venue’s exclusive caterer. John Sawyers of Perfect Harmony Entertainment, a DJ and photo-booth vendor, said that the costs of the venue range from $8,000 to $25,000.
Season 8: Minneapolis
While we’re still not sure which couples will decide to tie the knot this season—and which ones will call it quits, we do know that all four couples are hosting their nuptials at Bavaria Downs. The venue, which is 30 minutes outside of downtown Minneapolis, includes two wedding venues: Edward Anne Estate, a European-inspired mansion, and Equestria West, a contemporary, open-concept space. (The property’s third venue, Woodland Glasshaus, is currently under construction.)
The venue’s wedding package includes rentals, linens, a venue coordinator, and staff. While we can assume that the production team for Love Is Blind opted for the property’s all-inclusive package, which covers the décor, catering, and design, couples also have the flexibility to bring in their own vendors—and choose a less-expensive package. According to Heidi Strauss, a Minnesota-based photographer, pricing for the all-inclusive offering begins at $19,000 for 20 people.
